Where does it come from
Teak is a tropical hard wood species that is native to Southern Asia and South East Asia. The trees are grown for a minimum of 60 years before they are harvested and used in manufacturing. To cope with increasing global demand, teak trees are grown on dedicated estates operated and controlled by local government authorities to ensure the sustainability and protection of this resource.
How is it crafted
The logs are kiln dried for 2-3 weeks. Our Teak wood nursery furniture is hand crafted by our artisans. Teak is extremely durable & easy to work with.
Teak has a high tensile strength and smooth tight grain. It is highly popular in the ship building industry and furniture manufacturing due to its durability and rot resistance.

Teak is well known for being low maintenance, weather resistant and its beautiful, smooth finish.
Teak grows without the use of artificial fertilisers and heavy irrigation, making it an eco-conscious choice. There is environmental consideration for teak production with excess able to be returned to earth or recycled.
